At Tsumos, we value user privacy and are committed to safeguarding your personal information. This Data Retention Policy outlines how we handle and store user data, the retention periods, and when data will be deleted.
1. Purpose of Data Retention
We retain your data to provide you with the services you have requested, ensure operational stability, comply with legal obligations, and improve our products. However, we only retain your data for as long as it is necessary to fulfill these purposes.
2. Retention Period
User Accounts: User data, including account information and authentication details, will be retained for as long as your account remains active.
Inactive Accounts: If you do not engage with your account for a period of [6-12 months], we will send a notification reminding you of your account status. If there is no response, we may mark your account as inactive and proceed with data archiving or deletion.
Account Deletion: If you choose to delete your account, all personal information, including profile details and related records, will be deleted from our systems, including databases on Supabase and Auth0.
3. Data Retention for Logs and Other Records
Authentication Logs: Logs from authentication services (Auth0) will be stored for a period of [6-12 months], depending on compliance requirements.
Transaction and Activity Logs: Logs related to user interactions with our services, including those captured in Supabase and Vercel, will be retained for [12 months], after which they may be anonymized or deleted.
4. User Rights to Data Deletion
Data Deletion Requests: Users have the right to request the deletion of their data at any time. To request deletion, please contact us at Suraj_Bhandari@tsumos.com.
Data Deletion Upon Account Deactivation: When a user account is deactivated, all associated personal data will be deleted from our databases. This includes all profile information stored in Supabase, as well as user authentication data stored in Auth0.
